Robert DeVoe has been fencing on and off for 20 years. He has received instruction from Charles Selberg and Maitre Nick Evangelista. He has studied under Maitre Adam Adrian Crown's cyber course. Through the Western Martial Arts Workshop program he has received instruction in French rapier from Maestro Ramon Martinez and small sword from Maestro Jeannette Acosta-Martinez. He has also attended a special stage combat workshop put on by Robert Chapman. Robert DeVoe instructed the beginning foil class of Baited Blade Classical Fencing Club from 1997 to 2001. He has been the head instructor of The Jack of Swords since 2001 which holds its salle through the city of O'Fallon, MO Parks Department. In addition, he has a Masters of Arts in Medieval/Renaissance Europe.

Lynnette DeVoe teaches high school English. She has been fencing since 2003 and has picked up many of the teaching methods. Lynnette enjoys foil and rapier most of all. She is a valuable assistant to the instructors. |
Scott Kelly has been fencing since the beginning of 2002. Scott has introduced many friends to fencing. His desire to improve and his willingness to help make him an able assistant to the instructors. Scott also runs The Jack of Swords forum board. |
